Two's Class (2 yrs.)
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
10:45 - 11:35 - Arrival & Free Play (art opportunities embedded): Skills nurtured include making choices, peer interaction, taking turns, language, fine motor, cognition, sensory exploration, and creativity.
11:35 - 12:05 - Clean Up & Outdoor Play (Indoor motor play if necessary): Skills nurtured include swinging, sliding on play structures, riding trikes, blowing bubbles, jumping, running, and cooperation.
12:05 - 12:25 - Group/Music Time: Skills nurtured include introduction to instruments, dancing, singing, language, and attending as a group.
12:25 - 12:45 - Bring Own Lunch & Departure: Skills nurtured include group gathering, self-help opportunities, and peer interaction.
Junior (3's Class) & Senior (4's Class)
Junior Class: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Senior Class: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays
9:00 - 10:25 - Free Play Time: Children can choose between play dough, art and cooking in the Art Room, playing in the Block Room, or enjoying books and games in the Library.
9:30 - 9:45 - Morning Gathering: Teachers lead yoga, poems, stories and songs using sign language before finishing free play.
10:25 - 11:00 - Clean up and Group Snack
11:00 - 11:15 - Group time: Children gather for music, movement, calendar, and story.
11:15 - 11:50 - Outside Play Time: The school has great play equipment and a fenced outdoor area. An indoor play space and toys are available when it is truly too wet to be outside.
11:50 - Noon - Dismissal: Children gather for story and dismissal.
*On Wednesdays there is an optional Lunch Bunch for 4s from Noon - 1PM. Kids eat lunch with a teacher and enjoy additional playtime and you get an extra long break! Cost: $7 per child.
